What happens during an in-home consultation?
A short conversation, then a careful site assessment. We come to your home, walk through the space, ask about what you are noticing day to day, and inspect the existing openings, framing, and seal conditions. The goal is to give you a quote that is actually accurate, not a number pulled from a templated price sheet. No presentation, no pressure, no obligation. Most consultations take about an hour.
How long does a project take from start to finish?
Two timelines matter. Lead time, the wait between signing and installation while your windows or doors are built, is typically several weeks depending on the product and the season. Installation itself usually takes one to three days for a full home, depending on the number of openings and the condition of the existing frames. We give you a realistic window for both before you sign anything, and we update you if anything shifts.
What does your warranty actually cover?
Two layers. The product warranty comes from the manufacturer and covers the window or door itself, including the seal between panes. Our labour warranty is in writing and covers the installation. If something goes wrong with how the unit was installed, we come back and fix it. We handle callbacks ourselves, with our own crew. We will walk you through both warranties in plain language during your consultation.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with Finance It, a Canadian financing platform, so homeowners can spread the cost of a window or door project across monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payments. Loans are open, meaning you can pay them off at any time with no penalty. For some projects we can also set up promotional terms, such as no payments while you wait for installation, or a fixed lower rate for a set period. Your specific options are reviewed during your consultation.
Why is your quote sometimes different from other quotes?
Quotes vary because the scope varies. A lower number usually reflects fewer materials, a subcontracted crew, or a shorter labour warranty. We include a written labour warranty, our own trained installers, and proper preparation of the rough opening before the new unit is set. Those steps cost more upfront and prevent the kind of failures that show up two winters later. We are happy to walk through any other quote you have received and show you exactly where the differences are.
